Howdy Paula Nelson fans!
MERCHANDISE UPDATE!!: Hello all. Just wanted to let some of our Colorado folks know. We just received a new batch of the classic Paula Nelson Band "PBR" logo shirts. We have the black long sleeve, the white short sleeve, and the ever popular ladies "wifebeater" (not my favorite nickname :-/ ) tank top. We had a lot of requests for this shirt on our last tours, so we've rolled them out again. We'll have them in med, large, and xlarge. If there is a demand this time, we'll do a 2XL for our summer tour back up to the area!
It's time for a TOURING news update. We've been enjoying a little downtime here in the heart of Texas for most of February and March, sticking to doing some regional shows, SXSW music festival, some fun side projects, feeding and playing with goats and donkeys, and just generally enjoying some early Springtime weather. But it's time for us to get back on the road again!
After performing in Luckenbach this coming weekend, (Saturday, April 6th) with our good friend Clay McClinton, we will be heading back up to the Colorado area next week, starting with our first show at the ever popular Walnut Room in Denver on April 10th, followed by visits to Longmont, Lyons, Severance, Winter Park, Aspen, Crystola, Evergreen, and a new venue in Salida CO, Currents. Looking forward to seeing all our old friends, and making some new ones! Please check the calendar page on this here website for details on all of these shows. It's gonna be a good one!
We'll hit Vanesie's in Santa Fe for one night on the way back to Texas. After that, we have the honor of performing the opening set for Willie's 80th birthday bash at the gorgeous Backyard in Austin. After a few days off at home, we'll be hitting the road again, opening for Willie for a few weeks in May. We'll be starting with a show at the legendary New Orleans Jazz Festival on Friday, May 3rd. Following that, we have dates in Atlanta, then headed back through the Midwest, with shows in Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnessota. There is a possibility that we may have the opportunity to do a few of our own headlining shows during a few days off in the Michigan area the second weekend of May. Stay tuned to the website for updates. Once again, lots of detail are found for all of these performances on our calendar page. Hope to make lots of new friends and fans!
See y'all out there!
